Meet Our Veterinary Care Team
Diane StonerReceptionistDiane has been at Alpine Animal Hospital since April 2002. She works primarily as a receptionist. Before coming to Alpine, she worked in the medical field, and is a certifited medical assistant and continues to stay active with that.
She lives at home with husband, Darrell and has two grown children, Charlene and Josh. She is the proud grandma of twin grandsons and babysits them three days a week. Also at home are a horse and two dogs. In her spare time she like to spend time with family, work with ceramics, scrapbook, take lots of pictures, work in the yard and garden, spend time outdoors with the horses, camp, go 4-wheeling, read, and knit. |
Megan McVickerVeterinary AssistantA lifelong Montana girl, Megan grew up in Bozeman and the Flathead Valley. She is a graduate of Oregon State University where she received a degree in Animal Science with an Equine concentration. Upon graduation, she returned home to the Flathead for several years and then left to pursue a career in Barn Management in both Oregon and California.
A third generation horsewoman, riding and horse care are one of the true passions in her life. In her free time, Megan enjoys cooking, baking, her dog Chase, reading, kayaking, hiking and horseback riding. Back home once again, she is excited to join the AAH team and expand her knowledge of veterinary medicine. |
Brianna JohnsonVeterinary Assistant Brianna Johnson hails from the Rocky Mountain Front of Montana but now calls the Flathead Valley her home. She studied Business at the University of Mary in Bismarck ND on a Track and Field scholarship. She has taken up the Veterinary Technician position the last few years and has fallen in love with it, working in three clinics in two different states. Other than Montana, Brianna has lived in North Dakota, Oregon, Wyoming, and New Zealand. Fun fact about Brianna is that she absolutely LOVES Vizslas and IPA’s. She lives in Kalispell with her husband Jesse and their two dogs (one is a Vizsla) and cat. In their free time you will find Brianna and Jesse rafting, biking, hiking or sampling craft beer.

Jennifer RunnelsVeterinary AssistantJennifer grew up in New Mexico and has always had a passion for helping animals. She studied wildlife biology at New Mexico State University, then received her master’s degree from New Mexico Highlands University. Jennifer primarily studied songbirds, and moved to Montana in 2012 to work with Montana Fish, Wildlife, and Parks. She joined Alpine Animal Hospital in June 2022.
Jennifer spends her free time exploring the mountains and fly fishing with her two children and their Great Pyrenees Olive. They also have three cats at home! |
Kasey SandsVeterinary AssistantKasey is a true local being born and raised right here in Kalispell Montana. She has had a passion for animals since before she can remember and is beyond excited to be able to spend everyday helping them now! Kasey spent over three years working on a horse ranch and has now moved to working with small animals here as a technician at Alpine. Kasey likes to spend most of her free time enjoying the outdoors with her Golden Retriever Cooper. Hiking, camping, and riding ATVs are some of her favorite activities.

Nadia HebardVeterinary AssistantNadia grew up in Whitefish and is thrilled to be living in the Flathead Valley and working as a Veterinary Assistant at Alpine Animal Hospital. The education and professional experience that Nadia gets as part of the awesome Alpine team provides the perfect balance to the rest of her life. Outside of work Nadia enjoys spending time with her partner Matthew, their two pretty magical daughters, Violet and Ahni, and their many wonderful animals and extended family.

Davina PrinceVeterinary AssistantDavina began working at Alpine Animal Hospital in July of 2000. As an assistant Davina has many tasks that keep the hospital running smoothly. She cares for our patients and assists the doctors with appointments, treatments, and surgeries.
She has volunteered in the animal rescue industry for many organizations in Oregon, Washington, and Montana. Davina lives at home with her husband Gregg, their dog and cat. She likes spending time with her family, traveling, reading, going to the movies, vegan cooking, spending time outdoors, snowmobiling, and cross country skiing. |
Alana MaierVeterinary AssistantMontana born and raised, Alana grew up in Bozeman. There, she followed her childhood dreams and started working in veterinary care at the age of 15 as a full-time employee and student. She graduated early in her class and joined the Army when she was 17. Alana followed her high school sweetheart (Hunter) -who joined in the Marine Corps- to Southern California where she also worked at an Urgent Care facility for animals.
After finishing their enlistments, Alana and Hunter recently moved to the valley with their three beloved dogs: “Boo” and “Roo” (dachshunds) and Arlo (Queensland Heeler). On her free time, Alana enjoys weightlifting, hiking, paddle boarding, and movie nights in with her family. Growing up with dachshunds, Alana is fond of the breed. And at any opportunity given, she will share a doxi story or weenier dog pun. |
